Adobe CS2 serial # for windows and mac interchangable?

my company ordered the new CS 2.3 for windows, but i wanted to install it on my mbp. if i were to find the CS 2.3 disks for Mac OS and install it on my mbp instead of my pc at work, would i be able to use the serial # and register it with my Mac OS?

Nope, its the only cross-platform product I know of that does this. Dreamweaver (Thankfully!) doesn't, but photoshop does

I always remembered Photoshop coming with Mac and Windows versions on the same discs.

Shows how long it's been since I've paid attention to it.
