Hey all, I've got a Logitech MX 1000 mouse that I love to pieces and has performed solidly for a year or so, but for some reason after getting back from work today the cursor keeps freezing for a few seconds at a time. This strikes me as weird behaviour, I've tried rebooting and shutting down but no dice.

Any ideas how to solve this? Know a number of people own this mouse...

EDIT: Change of problem.

I reinstalled the logitech control center and now it doesn't acknowledge the mouse at all - which means I've no key maping/button mapping.

Also I've noticed that my freezes aren't the mouse, but OS X in general, as iTunes pauses video playback and audio playback at the same time

EDIT 2: I've got the freezing solved it seems - not sure if removing the logitech control panel, or repairing disk permissions did it (imagine disk permissions as that was last thing I did) but I still can't get my mouse to pick up when I reinstall the control center....argh!
