Ok I know it has 512mb internal but what would be the best way to optimize the ram. I am trying to keep the prices down low just need something to speed it up for Adobe photoshop and apeture.

How heavy photoshop work?
I added a GB and I need more, which, will be very pricey -- but then again I handle RAW files... 😛

I agree with lilstewart. 1GB extra is the way to go unless you want to pay a hell of a lot. You can always upgrade to the 2GB chip once the price comes down.
yeah i was just curious of what type to get. I wasn't for sure since the 512mb is internal just to get another 512 chip and it would perform better or just to get a 1 gig chip since there is only one slot. I really need to get ram ASAP for adobe suite I have a class that strictly uses it coming up in the next week. So what would be the best performing 1 gig chip of ram?
