i am a network geek and i have been waiting and waiting for wireless to wake up and come into the mainstream

i do not like cat 5 cable and all the difficulties and intricacies of hardwiring...but a huge and profitable (rare in this biz these days) industry is built around cat 5 and having all those wires so don't hold your breath for a quick change

look what happened to fiber and satellite...lost tons of money and investors lost entire fortunes on it even though fiber and satellite are still around
