no sound in quicktime?

Hello guys,

right now i'm trying to watch the keynote on my macbook pro, and i can't get any sound!

not muted, volume up... itunes works... ?

any suggestions? this has happened before i think, witht random quicktime files read off of my hard drive...

I had this problem too, and found this solution (which worked for me):

Basically:
1. Launch /Applications/Utilities/Audio MIDI Setup
2. Change "Properties For:" to Built-in Output
3. Set "Format:" to 44100 Hz (mine had been 96000Hz which was the problem).
