I am running iTunes 7.0.2.16 on Windows XP SP2, and I have an iPod mini 6GB.

All of my downloaded podcasts are showing up in my songs listing on the iPod. However, they do not show up in the songs listing in iTunes. Even when I have marked them as played in the podcasts section, they continue to show up in my songs section on the iPod.

Any ideas on how to correct this?

It seems as though this question has been posted dozens of times at the Apple forums, with no resolution.

Any ideas?

Some library file jiggery pokery no doubt. I do wish it could be resolved. A lot of my podcasts were orphaned when I was ping-ponging my library to and fro between various PC's.

There is a script you can run through iTunes called "Re-Add Selected Tracks as Podcast." I forgot where I downloaded it - do a little googling.
