What font does Apple generally use?

The font they use in ads for macs and iPods.

I have a couple of computers and a few MP3 players. No phones or tablets, though. I mean, I have a smartphone and a tablet, but they aren't Fapple. Also, the tablet is broken because I dropped it.

Funny thing is...

that the font that Microsoft uses for Windows Vista is Myriad Condensed Black Pro(or something long like that)

This thread reminds me of how ugly I find the font steve uses for his "Demo" slide. Its hideous.

Yes, they did. It was made for Apple by Galápagos Design.

Myriad Set is a newer reworking of Myriad Apple/Pro, that can take advantage of OpenType gimmicks.

Yes, Apple used to use a custom narrow variation of Adobe Garamond.

I could have sworn this was correct too.. and it was what came to my mind when reading the little caption on the main page... hmm I'm still not convinced that its myriad... - and indeed i was thinking of the 'Think Different' days... along with their main logotype.. but heres a link for the low down on the whole matter:
