iPod Recharge Battery

Does the iPod recharge if its plugged in but iTunes program isn't open? TIA

Yes, and if iTunes opens up automatically you can just eject the iPod and close iTunes and it should still show on the iPod that it is Charging or Charged.

yes, iTunes does not need to be open for the iPod to charge. the iPod should say "charging" until it's done; when it's done it'll say "charged."
