FUD galore

The point of the article is that Vista is disappointing, and doesn't "close the gap" with Macs as he so wishes it had done.

But to make sure nobody thinks Macs are an OK alternative, the author (Michael Parsons, Editor of CNET.co.uk) tosses in terms like "Apple fanbois" who don't care about "the actual merits of the products," but only about Steve's "pleasant perfume." Apple is only good at marketing, able to make the iPhone "seem much cooler and more impressive than it really is." (Gotta get some irrelevant iPhone FUD in there, apparently.) You see, Apple makes you think their products are frome a "smarter (and smugger) world" but in fact makes "expensive computers which often have trouble integrating into corporate environments."

So, in summary: Windows Vista is a real let-down, and still doesn't catch up to Macs. But you'd better stick with Windows anyway, because Macs have good marketing.

(And it's Mac users who are the zealots and fanbois, it it?)

Well summarized, nag. He's just in a bad mood. Even had time to complain about the war in Iraq.

Someone definitely forgot to take his happy pill this morning. I'm surprised they published such a useless article.
