Hi All,

After successfully using the Mac OS X "Mail" app as a POP client for Yahoo! Mail for several months, I was very surprised to start getting errors last night.

Apparently yahoo has started requiring folks to authenticate to use their SMTP servers. Well, no problem, I thought... And I set my Mail preferences to use SMTP authentication (with correct username/password) for my Yahoo account.

Unfortunately, it still fails.

I know that SMTP authentication standards are a bit varied and shaky, but man... this sucks.

Anybody know of a workaround?
