a.) will Windows XP install on my C2D iMac if I use a Windows XP disc that came with my old Dell computer? It is only SP1.

b.) instead of using a CD-R to burn the drivers for Windows XP, will a DVD-R work? ANSWERED

I'll answer them for the people who may be wondering the same things:

1. No, it has to be Windows with service pack 2 installed as part of the main OS installation. A Dell CD would most likely work if it installed with service pack 2.

2. Its best to use a CD. There's no advantages to using a DVD.
