What is the affect of keeping the power supply while the battery is there ? is this will affect the lifetime of the battery ?

I assume you're asking about leaving the battery in even after it's fully charged and you're running on wall power. That's fine...your Mac won't charge the battery until it falls below 93-95%, so you don't have to worry about numerous charges that might overcharge your battery. Your battery health will be fine if you leave it in. Taking it out just exposes the interior of your Mac to dust and possible physical damage, as well as risking a sudden shutdown if your Magsafe charger comes loose.

you can also see that the macbook is only meant to be used with the battery in because of the little rubber thing on the bottom of the battery just like on the other 3 corners
