Alternative to roxio toast

is their a alternative to roxio toast like maybe nero burning rom

may i ask why?

roxio is fantastic, good support and well liked.

just putting my 2 cents as it says you're a newbie so i'm wondering if you are new to the mac world.

i love toast.

You can burn it in Mac OS X by inserting a blank disk and then clicking on the icon that appears on the desktop. Then drag files into the finder window and click burn. I really like roxio though, so why do you want an alternative?

I use Burn. Simple, effective, free, works every time. I've never needed anything else.

just wondering and i use Nero burning rom on my desktop and laptop and Nero Rules also i doing research on software i will need

Burn, as mentioned above, would be a completely free alternative.

There's also Disco, which is about $30.

Neither of these would be a feature-for-feature replacement for Toast, but they'll get you most of the way.
