I noticed you have to hold the eject button now.

Also is it just me or is the volume louder? (24" iMac)

Please list little things that you have found.

Yeah the volume is definitely louder on my iMac. It was stupidly quiet before, so I'm glad I can now annoy siblings even more :p

I have that as well as on the lowest setting, my iMac seems darker. And my iPhoto wont update : (.

I noticed that when I hit "get mail" in mail.app, the little circle waiting thing nest to INBOX is now black instead of white.

Or am I imagining things?

MAN, I went to a friends house about 30 minutes before the update appeared on MR. Still at friends house.

And these features you're listing isn't helping the wait. :(

I usually have the voume up halfway on my iMac C2D and when i turned it back on an started up iTunes I was blown away. Other than that nothing strikes me as too apparent.

I noticed the volume being louder, too. I thought maybe the update had just reset my volume to default (which is fairly loud), but I just tested it after reading this post and it can indeed go louder.

It has always been that way  but I think the Inbox logo has changed, or am I imaging things? Nvm. it has been the same.

Perhaps you are at least waiting for 10.6 before upgrading Tiger? I know some people do and they don't want to buy every Mac OS X upgrade.
I skipped 10.3 before purchasing Tiger at 10.4.2 and never missed a thing, imop. Probably wait and see what Leopard has to offer that I can't live without... on topic, my mini is alot louder. I love Apple! Who else gives free upgrades to system software that rock!:D :)

64bit is enough for me to switch over ;)

My MacBook is brighter (even on the lowest setting).

my iMac is the same.

Especially annoying.

I dislike it especially when I put my computer to sleep. I have my routine down to hit control-eject then immediately hit S, pretty fast. Then I go away and come back much later to find the machine still on.

My MacBook had the default Color LCD Profile and I calibrated to Adobe RGB (1998) after the Mac OS 10.4.9 update.

Let me clarify...what I mean is that, are people sure that it wasn't just the calibration settings of the Apple default profiles that changed and not anything about the actual screen? If the gamma or other parameters are adjusted, the apparent impact will be a "brighter" screen.
