iPod failed to read "name of ipod" disc

does anyone get this when they are trying to add pictures in their iPod? what does this mean? and how can i fix it?

it's in a pc, i don't know what it is, sometimes it does it while it s syncing a certain song and it suddenly stops and displays the msg that the discak cannot be read.... i take the song out of the list and it works perfectly, the problem is, when you are uploading 100's of pictures at a time it doesnt tell you which picture it is that it's syncing at the moment so you dont know what picture to take out not that should anyways in my opinion what is the error and what can i do to fix this? any ideas?
