Absolutely nothing about that site seems to require Flash to be used instead of normal HTML.

I think like the site design but am unsure of what it is. You may want to make this clearer to the user upon entering the site. The flash animation doesn't really help your design; I think that html and good css would be much better. It'd also be nice if the site the content took up more space in the browser window.

Yes i agree about the size i may expand on that soon..

The site as you probably now no is a games holder site. The games arent made by the site owner but are correctly linked to the owners or are released legally as "free games to download for your site"

Another thing with this site is the people going on it at the moment are regular custommers so they know wot the site is! BUT the site owner should probs make it more clear to new customers.

Thanks for the help guys

looks like crap, the flash is pointless and all you've done is stolen a bunch of other people's flash games. Then again I suppose that's how ebaums made his millions

1. I agree with others in that there is no legitimate reason to create the bulk of this site in flash. CSS and HTML would do better job.

2. Its kind of ugly and bland. There is nothing that stand out to me that says "don't close that browser, you'll really want to see this".

3. The little wiggle/jump/shimmy animation that happens when you navigate to a new page is downright annoying.

4. The best web sites generally work the same way so users can easily navigate and use the site with out any additional learning curve. Putting the navigation bar on the top or side has become the de facto standard. Its rare to see the navigation bar on the bottom. Its not necessarily a bad thing, its just not the norm.

The site looks good. I think it needs to be larger, since even if you are trying to cater to the REALLY low res user, they wouldn't have flash installed for a computer like that. Also, I agree with the fact that HTML and CSS could be used instead of Flash.

Flash is a great application however I totally agree, the site could have been created in HTML and still look the same.

I do like the banner, graphics and menu bar they look good and are easy to navigate the site.

took too long to open the site so i closed the whole thing
that should say something to you
patience is thin with web users
if you can't capture their attention in the first 5 seconds,
they'll navigate away from your website
i'd say make it lighter, and lose the intro

I'd rather use php or aspx.

As far as I'm concerned, there are only two times flash should/could be used is:

1. Animated Images - you can do so much more with an small flash movie than you can with an animated gif. But if a gif satisfies your need, use the gif.

2. Games - flash games a occasionally fun flash may be the best technology for them.

I agree with some of the already posted comments...

1. No clue as to what the site is about? You need some info.

2. The only content seems to be redirected elsewhere.. maybe if there were reviews or reasons as to why the links exist.

3. What was three? Oh right! Why am I here? You need more content.

4. And finally, why Flash? I don't see the point.

OK it works but what's the point? Lots of space is taken up but very little information content and why use flash if all that you need is a few lines of text?

What a really dislike about most flash sites is they move at the speed programmed by the web designer. I don't like to waste time waiting for some silly fade-in effect.

I totally agree, Flash for the sake of Flash just waste time and bandwidth....
