Hey everyone, does anyone know how to get rid of that internet connect pop-up that comes on every 15 min???? Its so annoyning and it always signs me off and I want to get rid of it. Do u have to go into system peferences or into AOL??? Thanks.

Go to System Preferences/Network/Internal Modem/PPP/PPP Options and you should have an option to tell your computer how and when you want it to connect/disconnect.

vniow,
When I go click on the TCP/IP tab and it says to configure do I click PPP, manually, or AOL Dialup if I am connecting to AOL????

Okay, when you hit PPP options on System Preferences, you should get a window that pops up which looks like the one below, chech/uncheck the ones that pertain to what you want to tell it to do and there ya go.
