What type of memory card is in an iPod nano?

What type of memory card is in the iPod nano- I presume an SD card is used?

I don't believe it holds a "memory card" such as SD, xD or anything like that (I could be wrong, however). I think it's just built in flash memory like built into the circuitry. Anyone else know for sure?
