Possible FS : AppleCare for MBP/Powerbook with AppleCare

AppleCare Protection Plan for MBP/Powerbook w/ Apple display

I may be unable to register my AppleCare I just bought, I FedEx delivered it to me a day late, so I missed the window. If when I call Apple they tell me I'm screwed [which I probably am, anyone else have this experience?] then I'm going to sell it.

Retails for 349.00 / 249.00
Make an offer if interested.

I heard that they'll usually let you slide if you're within a week of your expiration date. That would be so mean if they wouldn't let you register it being just one day off.

Yeah, my roommate found out that he didn't activate his AppleCare for his eMac almost 4 months after the first year because it broke down on him. He called Apple and they still let him activate it.

Were his eMac and AppleCare on the same receipt?

yeah, go to http://www.apple.com/support/, and on the right lower part of the page, put in your serial... see if it's correct.

So long as you have proof of purchase of your MacBook Pro, and have proof of purchase of AppleCare before the 1 year mark, you are ok. You may have to fax in those receipt, but there shouldn't be a problem.
