has anyone tried using an airport card with a D-Link DWL-900AP access point? any setup or signal problems?

are there any advantages to the DWL-900AP+?

i'm using a dual usb ibook and G4 sawtooth with 10.2

got a friend who runs a cube off a DWL900AP with no problems. can't see why the sawtooth would be any different, ditto with the iBook.
