I broke a key on a 15 inch Powerbook. It was the 1Ghz model without the illuminated keyboard. Is there a way to get a single key?

I've bought keys from ebay in the past....

Actually, buy a spare keyboard from Apple and sell the keys you don't need on ebay! ;)

from what i've heard the Apple stores usually have collections of spare keys. probably from the ones being broken off and lost from the floor models and such too. if you have one close by i'd say its your easiest and best bet.

the apple store actually replaced one key for u? that funny cause when i
dropped a frame on my keyboard, one key and bracket broke. took it to apple
and they said they dont replace just one key...i'd have to buy a full new
keyboard thats over $200.

took it to a certified apple reseller and they fixed both in 5 mins for 7 bucks.

Just so you know... full PowerBook keyboards go for about $7 on eBay and they're a breeze to install. Actually, I believe they work in the MacBook Pro as well.

Daniel.
