Question about upgrading processor.

I'm adding a Sonnet 1 gig card to my 400 Mhz tower. Will this make it a 1 gig processor, or a 1.4?

If its a 1Ghz card, you'll have a 1Ghz processor.

Quite right. You are not "adding" a processor, but "swapping" a processor. You can't run them both. Well, I guess if you were REALLY good at hardware hacke, you might , possibly, in another dimension be able to run both, but not really. 🙂

I was thinking of doing the same thing to a Dual 450 let me know how it goes. (ps it will be a 1 cause you are swapping the original out)
