Problem connecting Mac Pro to TV

Hi all.
I've got a Mac Pro with an X1900XT video card with dual DVI outputs. I've got a 23" ACD as my main display and I sometimes connect my TV via composite (using the Apple DVi to video adapter). When I'm not using my TV with my Mac, I unplug the adapter.

Everything was working fine up, but now my Mac doesn't seem to detect the second display. When I connect the DVI plug into the computer, my main dispplay goes blue for a second (as it usually does, i think), but then nothing happens.

Can anybody help?

I've tried that, still no luck

My guess is that the video adapter you're using doesn't work with your TV.

The thing is, it worked fine when I first got it. But one day, it just suddenly stopped working.
