Argh...stupid MSN Messenger not working

So I downloaded the Mac version of MSN Messenger...and I had no problems with it until now. It won't let me sign in...each time I try it says it failed to connected either because of my password or I'm not connected to the internet. But I'm connected and the password is correct. So what's wrong? How can I fix this?

I'm having the same issue. I couldn't connect with MSN, aMSN, Mercury or web messenger. You'll just have to wait it out.

EDIT: Web messenger works.

I think the msn network was down, mine hasnt been working all day, I checked on my mac some pcs and my cell
