Call of Duty 2 Server Problems

You may want to check the filter settings you have. The setup I use displays almost all of the servers:

View Empty: Yes
View Full: Yes
With Passowrd: Yes
Without Password: Yes
Pure Servers only: Yes
Dedicaticated Only: Yes
Mods: All
Friendly Fire: All
Killcam: All
PunkBuster: All

I get the same problem, and yes i have my filters un filtered, i think it is poor support for the mac version. The most annoying part is my favorite servers dont show up. I did find one way that fixes this though. If you make sure you only have one account profile and have all of the favorites plugged into that one it should work fine.

Same here. In New York City. I do get a number of medium ping servers during the day , but in the evenin, forget it. Ther are only usually 5 or so and they mostly have a very high ping. Like 300 some of them. Seems like mostly servers from out of the country.

I just found that downloading gameranger and going to the COD2 servers allows you to see everything.

Make sure you have "Internet" as your source and not "Local." Also, if servers in your favorites are disappearing they may be undedicated. Other than that, recheck your filters and make sure the patch is installed correctly. I usually load about 5600 servers with a good deal of them being in the 30-100 ping range and have never had any problems with my favorites.

I'm having difficulties with Call of Duty 2. I bought the game in 2007, and i've been playing since. And this is the first time, I'm having these issues.

So my problem is, that It doesn't open/show me the servers. You guys told us the Filtering, but I have everything on it. And yesterday, I even played on it. Sometimes this problem just pops up. I want to fix it. What could be the problem??

I tried GameRanger out, and it doesn't work for me. It only shows me the 1.3 servers, and I don't like to play on those.

Could anyone please help me. I need you guys' help!

Gameranger not responding

I am trying to get multiplayer with Star Wars Battlefront - but I have to get a Gameranger account. Ok, no problem... I gave my email address yesterday. No response from gameranger, so I can't log on to find servers!

What gives? Why doesn't gameranger send me the confirmation email so that I can follow thru with my account validation?

Any help is appreciated!

Call of Duty 2 Multiplayer "Create a Server"

I am having problems with the "Create New Server" part in Call of Duty 2 Multiplayer.

You see, when I click on it and create my server, and I click "DONE", it sometimes takes me to the server, but then I get out of the server and I can't find it anymore.

Other times, I create my server, and when I click done, it takes me all the way back to my desktop and brings up a Call of Duty 2 Command List saying "Failed - Access Denied" and other junk like that.

Any help Call of Duty 2 Multiplayer fans?

Oh, and, for the 1st question, I had that happen to me as well on the 1.0 version, and I waited like a week, and it went back up perfectly.

If it doesn't work, try installing the 1.0 version again. It has much more server choice and there are lots of clans to join.

Please help my friends.

I crated my server in cod2 and I added my server to favourites in xf! I can connect to my server but nobody els can join my server! I dont now where is problem ! Nobady can connect to my server! Can somebody help me?? pls I really need hel with this problem!!! My xf is nebojsad!!!

I want my server to be on internet but it always appears to me on Local and i can only connect there nobody else.i have all ports forwarded and checked by the portforward checker. Any solutions?
