DALnet/ident problem

Hi all. I want to connect to a DALnet server, but I apparently don't have "ident" enabled. I download Snak and ran the "Enable Ident" script from root, but it still hasn't taken care of the problem. Can anyone help?

Are you behind a firewall or router?

Sweet. Just saw that someone had replied. Yes, we have a wireless home network set up. What's strange is that I can access DALnet just fine on the peecees in the house.

You need to open up your router to forward port 113 to your Mac that you want to access IRC with.

This allows Dalnet to query your machine... otherwise, they get blocked at the router.
