Are there any external drive ensclosures (USB) that spin down when apples computers go into sleep mode?

the Mybook series? I know they go to sleep when the computer is off. Is it the same for sleep?

Thanks for any help you can provide...
 
The elite mercury pro from OWC enclosure I'm using is such that the HD (which is Windows NTFS format though I'm using it with my aluminum powerbook g4) spins down when it hasn't been actively used for a while -- ie the computer doesn't even have to be asleep.

I'm using the firewire 800 connection but it has USB as well.
