useful limiter plug

last night, i bought the massey L2007 limiter plug, a steal at $89 USD, imo.

i made great use of it today on a mix, on several different parallel compression mults (overheads, backing vox, 2 different guitar mults). the plug gave me great smoothing and nice tone, exactly what i was looking for in each case.

i've been using other massey plugs for over a year: vt4 EQ and tapehead saturation, and like them a lot. i also bought the ct4 compressor plug last night, but have no opinion of it yet.

i'm a bit of a hardware snob, especially regarding compression, so when a plug works this well for me, i want to let people know about it!

no affiliation w/ steve massey, except as a satisfied customer of his plug-ins.

oh -- it's currently PT-only, but steve has talked about porting his plugs to VST and AU at some point...
