iPod iPod Won't Turn Off

iPod 30GB, whatever the most current gen is.

So I'm at work, around this time of day I usually pop in the headphones (as my PC isn't supplied with speakers) and work on any sites I'm busy with.

Well, lo and behold, it's been on since I left my lunch-break workout three hours ago. It won't shut off automatically, nor manually. I was able to reset it, but that didn't fix it.

Any ideas? I just had to get a replacement iPod due to my last one breaking down on me, and now this one, less than three weeks old, is already screwing up. 🙄

Tried that already. No change.

Well WTF? Now it shut off.
