I recently added RAM to my iBook G4 and followed the user's guide instructions, i.e. detaching the antenna from the airport extreme card before adding the RAM.
Ever since, the airport signal works fine (full) as long as i stay in the same room as the station. As soon as I go elsewhere in the flat, the signal drops to one bar and then dies.
I've only found one link about this, which suggested that you just detach and reattach the antenna. Tried that, doesn't help... Still haven't tried to take out the extra RAM. Why the f**k should I? I mean it should not be a problem.
Has Anyone experienced the same problem? Any help would be muchly appreciated.
