um, did anyone notice during the keynote, that when they compared the audio playback on the PC and the G5... that the PC was running Cubase SX, and the G5 was running Logic 6...?! thats a pretty unfair comparison, considering that its pretty well known that logic is a lot more cpu efficient than cubase in the first place. youd think theyd just run cubase on both systems. any thoughts? seems like an unfair benchmark to me, although im sure the G5 would still be faster with cubase, but the results wouldnt be as extreme as what the did at the keynote

yeah i was thinking the same, i'm a life long Logic user but i think it was an unfair comparison. probably just trying to kill two birds with one stone. like by pushing that Apple is king, in both hardware and software. still, i'm very impressed with everything that went on today.
