iMac price reductions

With the quite simply incredible G5 soon to be commercially released, I am hoping that iMac prices will decrease enough to finnaly allow peeps like me to afford one.

Any comments, speculation, anything?

me still wants a lower priced iBook.

If iMac prices do go down, it won't likely be much. I actually think the eMac is a fantastic deal, as long as you don't want a flat panel display. The $999 eMac gives you a 1 GHz G4.

As for the iBook, I think $999 is a great deal. However, I think they should include a combo drive. I wouldn't want to buy a new laptop with only a CD drive, although only having a CD drive would be good in education.

I want a updated imac too. Or at least a price reduction. Maybe in the coming days....
