Command and Conquer demo on a MacBook, universal binary?
Does anyone here have a universal binary for the command and conquer generals demo. I have the demo and it's a PPC version. It ran pretty poorly on my mini, but now I have a macbook I want to give it another go to see if it's worth buying. I have tried using the UB patch but that's for the full retail version only. I've gone into the package contents and can't find a replacement .app.
If not does anyone here run c&c generals on their macbook with the UB patch? How does it run? Is it playable? fast,? Laggy?

Get Command & Conquer Generals working on Lion
I'm using the full version and it works well on my Macbook Pro.
My Deluxe Edition was installed when I had "Snow Leopard" it stopped working after I upgraded to "Lion" for obvious reasons. I did the below now I play with no issues at all. Simply download this file from here http://www.macgamefiles.com/item/18132/ then install it. Note: Make sure you have at least a non-working copy of Command & Conquer Generals installed. |
