Sending a fax from a Macbook Pro

I upgraded from a Powerbook to a MBP a year ago, but only just realized that there is no modem port on this machine. Is there any kind of adaptor that would make faxing possible, or is there physical no modem in the machine?

I use the Apple external USB modem for Faxing ($50) it's very small so you can take it with you in the smallest of the portable bags.

Other USB modems might work as well
