Microsoft to Unveil New Product Tonight?

It seems everyone wants in on the buzz surrounding All Things Digital conference.

Gizmodo says that at 12:01 EST, Microsoft will be launching something very special.

It's described as "something totally new coming out of the Entertainment and Devices division, and it's going to change the way people interact with technology" and "you really have to see it to believe it."

Palm is also said to be unleashing something new tomorrow.

Since there's nothing else like it, Microsoft will automatically have a 100% marketshare-- mwahahahaha!

Perhaps a keypad that you lick?
A videoscreen that you talk to?
A speaker that you smell?

I love it!!!

I totally love this... everyone is hopping on the Apple bandwagon and releasing products "in secret" with teasers, pre-announcement, etc.

Anyway, I'm hoping for a zune update, with full wifi, browsing, VOIP, installable apps, etc. (Not that I'd buy one, but it would keep Apple on their toes).

I voted positive for this. Know why? Cause it'll be another chance for MS to make themselves look incredibly stupid.

It has to be the Microsoft oPhone, plain and simple.

It will be the iPro.

It does nothing and will be the market leader in nothing.

MS would build more hype if they DIDNT have a press-release. Not that we have expectations for them anyway.

*sigh* Isn't all these companies pretending to be Apple the same thing as admitting Apple is a better company...?

Okay, sorry, totally off topic.

Let's see what the boys and girls up in Redmond have to offer. . . My guess is either an iPhone-like device or a tablet UMPC.

Wrong.
Wrong.
Wrong.

Those would only be partially new. They promised us something totally new. Leave it to M$ to abuse the horse drawing the hype cart.
