how to get the little flag to appear on the bar at the top ??

how can I get the little flag that controls the language on the keyboard to appear on the bar at the top ?

I'm still working on getting back on track with this.

Any help is greatly appreciated

System preference - International - Input Menu at the bottom "Show Input in Menu bar"

System Preferences -> International -> Input menu -> Tick the box at the bottom 🙂

EDIT: That's what you get for opening multiple MR tabs...
 
Take a look in System Preferences/International – in the Input menu pane you should see a tick box marked 'Show input menu in menu bar' down towards the bottom. Select this and that should do the trick.

System prefs >> International >> Input tab >> √ the "show input menu in menu bar"
