It keeps forwarding me to some sort of online portal...

First, please edit your original post as it is missing an 'o' in its '.com'. It's forwarding us to some portal site.

Secondly, I don't really like the horizontal lines. They are too strong to my taste, and it makes reading and looking at your site somewhat difficult.

Third, try to keep consistent heading across your pages. It looks to me some pages are missing the little heading box just below the navigation.

Fourth, is it just me or is there space between the contents and the footer section?

Fifth, the quote seems to be out of place. It looks like it's tacked there just for the sake of having quote somewhere. Try moving it elsewhere or at least make it more distinguished from the page contents.

Sixth, for choosing a domain name, think of a name you'd like to use first. It could be a nickname, a variation of your name, some word you got from dictionary, or a word you made up. I had sites using my nickname and also some combination of words, plus some using variation of caffeine (my favourite drug ,p), and so on.

For portfolio, try to throw in the words 'design', or 'creative' or even 'etc' into it. kitkietc, maybe? ,)

That's just unsightly and (in my opinion) unncessary.

Ditto the horizontal tv scanline-like lines. Get rid of them.

Your portfolio is annoying. You rollover thumbs to see a larger version which then promptly disappear and no larger scrutinzeable version exists.

Your pages also load really slowly for me.
