iTunes keeps asking for my password

After I upgraded to 7.2 and enabled iTunes Plus, iTunes prompts me for my password every time I launch iTunes. is anyone else seeing this? Why does it do that? And more importantly: How do I make it stop?
 
this is the same for me - i'm sure this has been taked about on the forum but i have not searched for it yet
