I got my new MacBook less than two weeks ago. Can I use the upcoming Back to school offer and get the iPod afterwards? (I bought my MacBook with EDU discount.)

I'm not sure, but I would think that you can only take advantage of the offer when it's announced.
I'm at work at the mo and don't have iTunes to be able to go to the store and check the details of the offer. I'd suggest trying to find details there.

Technically the rebate form says that the products must be purchased from June 5th to Sept. 16th and be on the same sales reciept. But it is definitely worth a phone call.

I wonder if you can use this for a refurb mac and a refurb ipod. I know the ED. discount doesn't apply for refurb items but if you buy them through your School's Apple Store for Education Individuals it should work (I think). I didn't see where it said refurbs are not eligible.
