Photos of WWDC 2007 Banners at Moscone West

RoughlyDrafted has posted the first photographs of banners that have been setup at Moscone West in San Francisco for WWDC 2007.

Outside Moscone West
Leopard: Rocket fuel for your apps baner
Large X / Time Machine banner
Expand your universe banner

WWDC 2007 kicks off on Monday, June 11, 2007. Full details about Leopard are expected to be released at the keynote speech to be given by Steve Jobs.

MacRumors will be providing live text and photo coverage of the keynote speech at MacRumorsLive. No live video feed will be available during keynote, but Apple typically posts the keynote in Quicktime a few hours after the end of the event.

We will also setup a "spoiler free" page (as we did for MWSF 2007) for individuals who wish to watch the keynote (after the fact) without any prior knowledge of the events.

Never mind what is in front of your face... look to your left and way in the distance and you'll see a banner saying "the bold new look of iMac"....

And it begins! I love seeing the pre-expo photos and disecting everything. There isn't much to disect from these photos, but hopefully something mysterious will come up.

i think this lends some credibility to the idea that the UI might get a makeover, being made black.

I hope they are not going to keep that ugly Expose icon. (The one in the Developer Previews.)

Features?

Apple has been adopting a lot of sun technology lately (ZFS, DTrace) i wonder if "Expand Your Universe" is a hint at Apple's implementation of Sun's 3d desktop (looking glass).

Holy mother of... lets hope not. I can't see anything of value they could get from Looking Glass. It was laughable when they first showed it years ago, today it's even worse. I just dug up the video and watched it again and everything they should is either extremely poorly implemented or completely useless. Not to mention it was all running on Java...like anyone needs that albatross hung around the neck of the entire UI.

I was just wondering if someone could tell me which photo that the new iMac poster is in?

Can someone zoom in on it and take a picture and post it?

Sam

Well, these are only the first floor banners. They could have covered banners on the second and third floor (which are nearly impossible to see from the outside).

I like this "Space" theme. Can't wait to see what Steve talks about on Monday!

It can not be here fast enough

I am counting the days and can hardly wait... I am very curious to see the so called hidden(top secret) features. HOw about any of you?

My fear is they will be un-impressive an underwhelming. I have guarded my expecations as to not be to disappointed.

Apple is really pushing the idea of "Space". The time machine theme, universe theme, and of course spaces.

I think we could probably see a lot more 3D GUI.

Anybody think that the 'expand your universe' banner could be the new finder?

I.e. Apps all over like stars and planets and you probably click and drag to move them around to find what you want then click the app to open?

Just a thought although its not very workflow efficient unless spotlight search is a big part of it.
