I just purchased an iMac G3 with OS 8 on it. I plan on upgrading it to OS 9 today, but before that, I started scanning through the Applications and I noticed that Appleworks was on there. Since I am doing a clean install of OS 9, is there any way to save Appleworks for OS 9? Can I just drag the Appleworks folder to a USB drive and then when I have nuked the drive, put it back on?

(also, how would I do office 2001?)

Thanks 🙂

I *think* you can selectively install AppleWorks from your original iMac Install CD.

If you do not have licences for the software then we are not able to provide assistance with it.
