Is it possible to just enable disk mode on the iPod and copy all the songs straight to the new Mac?

Is there a program that can do this for me?

The best would be to copy your iTunes folder and then paste it in your Mac. That way you can keep the play counts, rating, etc.

If your library is big and entirely on your iPod, it would probably be faster to use an app like Senuti to transfer your iPod music straight to your Mac. Otherwise, you can just copy the files via network, external hard drive, etc.

what if you dont have ethernet I hear you say... well, wireless, which, would take a while, yet still free...

2) use an external drive if you have one
