Hey!
I just finished on my first proper website http://joebaynham.net . I didn't code much apart from the start page after that its just wordpress but oh well

. Please post comments!

As you said "its just wordpress", but that makes sense for a personal site/blog.
You used pretty clean and simple template, that's plus.

BTW, why redirection to get to the main site?

Yeah I know and thats why I have been trying to get a new one or change the on on there but it wont let me do it..

It's kinda annoying and it's not actually re-directing to a different domain or anything.

Always use 0 second redirects (if you have to use them at all, I'm certainly guilty though).

Agreed. It reminds me of old splash pages that, thankfully, have gone the way of the Dodo....lose the redirect.

Not bad, although it could use more "life" stuff for content because it'd be original. Too many Apple blogs out there.
