Apple always has been at the forefront of innovation for creative professionals. That's why anyone who's anyone in digital photography-related field (and even some publishing) uses a Mac. I agree with this article when he says that the G5's performance coupled with Apple's move towards pro video software (even Pixlet) will really help improve their image in the post-production scene. Even bringing a studio-quality codec to the masses is a revolutionary move on Apple's part that will really get attention. It truly is an exciting time for post-production studios that want something new, powerful, and relatively inexpensive.
