Just a quick question, I know the iPhone is GSM so it takes a SIM? Where does the SIM get inserted, I know 99% of phones are usually under the battery.

Slot (tray) in the top of the iPhone. Someone described it as similar to the battery tray in the Apple Remote.

Here is a sketch from Apple.com (see the indent on the bottom) - they look very similar.

ah that makes sense. cant wait for this dang iPhone (hopefully I can get one) being the fact I'll be waiting in line for about one hour 5pm

Good Morning to all...and greetings from Germany...

- I also belive that it is possible to remove the sim card...but then...?

I live in germany, and i will go crazy if i must wait until dezember here in germany to get a iphone...so i will try to get one in the USA next week...

But...if the iphone will be net looked i get a big problem...I realy hope there will be a possibility to use it with a t-mobile sim...
