I hope apple release iTunes version w/o iphone/iPod support, for ppl don't use those, its only purpose is to make the app more bloated.

I can't notice any changes right off the bat, but Software Update said it had iPhone support. Yay! 11 hours to go!

Not really. It doesnt have all that stuff loaded in memory when you are using iTunes. It calls on the resources as and when necessary.

As im at work (and on my Windows machine), can any Mac users downloading 7.3 check out the strings for any interesting tidbits?

Thought I'd better get this before the rush starts. No use to me though really.

must be for Mac only, checking for updates within iTunes itself under windows shows 7.2 is "the current version"

Is anyone having problems picking it up in the Software Update? I tried Check For Updates in iTunes and Software Update in the Preferences in OS x... and no luck.

The selected playlist/library are a lighter blue now, and the grey buttons along the button are lighter too!

EDIT: And collapsable Playlist/Devices menu? Is that new?

(I'm in the UK, the iPhone thing addition doesn't excite me yet :P)
