IMAP question

Is it possible to leave emails on my server after downloading them to the iphone? I would like to be able to read them on my computer as well as on the iphone. Thanks.

That's how imap works. Your inbox is synced with the server so whatever is in there should be on any computer set up with that account.

Hmm, somehow when I download messages to the iphone, and try a while afterward to download them to my laptop it doesn't work! Any idea what could be going wrong?
