Ipod function question

Is there a way to keep the ipod portion from going dark and then when coming back on having to slide the slider over?? Seems like after short time the screen darkens and then the controls go away...I would like that portion to stay on when Im listening to music

you could change the the Auto-Lock time interval to 3-5 minutes if you want, or even go as far as "Never". Although i would imagine this drains the battery faster. To change this go to Settings/General/AutoLock
