quickest way to empty trash for email?

I set up my gmail account and it of course loaded like 300 emails but I've deleted them all and now they're in the "trash" section. Anyway to permanently remove them from the phone all at once?
 
Well the quickest way I've found to delete all messages from the Trash is an option which you can enable by navigating to:

Settings > Mail > Accounts - Select email account > Advanced > Deleted Messages - Remove -> Select "After one day"
