I don't think that MicroSoft found the flaw -- if I recall the article, it was some outfit in Europe (Poand?).

It was found by four guys in poland, some outfit called The Last Stage of Delirium Research Group. Great name. My favorite part is this

Sorry to bust the bubble, but realize this: it's the first security flaw in three months for Windows Server 2003, which is impressive.

Many people have the ports closed anyways, like I, so it doesn't affect me anyway.

It's not like Mac OS X is totally more secure than Windows. It may be, but I know that Mac OS X has had more holes than Windows Server 2003 in the past three months.

It's nice to see that their security iniative is paying off. But one thing hasn't been solved in either Mac OS X or Windows--patch those damn patches without rebooting.
